Shelley Sallee, with the support of Wade's family, organized a prayer vigil for Wade in Bloomington.

Here were the specifics:
The date of the prayer vigil was Saturday, Feb. 10th, at 7:30 p.m. The
location was ECC (Evangelical Community Church), 503 S. High Street, Bloomington.

"The vigil last night, and the love, strength, hope, and support it
represented, was an inspiration. Each of us is a human being. Ironically, it
seems difficult to remember this sometimes. We go through our days working,
eating, sleeping, cleaning, caring for our families...and then of course, if
we're fortunate, we get to do it all again and again. When something jolts
us out of this pattern...and doesn't seem quite to fit, we lift up our heads
from the proverbial grindstone, and see that there are others right along
side us living their lives parallel to ours...others that we didn't even
know were there. Others with differing vocations and backgrounds, yet with
similar needs and desires like safety, acceptance, understanding, laughter,
and love. It is a shame that sometimes it takes distress to lift up our
heads, but perhaps that is the nature of it...when we need community most,
and when we are willing to allow our selves to be enveloped by it, we are
given true sight of this community."

With love,
Jennie
